The toddler classroom is designed to develop social skills and to help children learn about their environment. Within the classroom there are centers where toddlers exercise and develop their creativity and imagination. Toddlers are beginning to think about their actions, solve problems and understand language. During the school day, your child will engage in activities such as jumping, rolling, walking and waving. Teachers will introduce concepts such as sharing, talking, self-discipline and simple table manners. We will also provide your child with a variety of cognitive concepts. Your toddler will be introduced to colors, numbers, shapes, as well as letters and pre-emergent phonetic sounds using The Creative Curriculum System.

The Preschool Programs here at Kaleidoscope Academy offers the perfect backdrop for educational success and flourishing students. Preschoolers are introduced to cognitive skills: sequencing and matching; social skills: similarities and diversity; language art skills: storytelling and writing.

Our preschool program sets the stage for self-confidence by encouraging progress at the child’s own pace, according to their individual needs and abilities. Your preschoolers’ program will be customized to match your child’s age, needs and progress.

Our Staff through the use of The Creative Curriculum System will assist your child in developing vocabulary and reading proficiencies that will last a lifetime. We will stimulate your child with a hands-on approach to introductory math, science and social studies. Your child’s imagination, creativity and natural love of learning will thrive.

Our Programs

Our Pre-K curriculum is a blend of The Creative Curriculum for Preschool and Pre-K and the additional Kaleidoscope Academy curriculum add-ins.  Emphasized content areas include, social-emotional development, physical development, language development, cognitive development, literacy, mathematics, science & technology, social studies, and the arts.

We provide expansive learning environments for our four and five year olds indoors and out. During this last year before going off to kindergarten, the children learn to be independent thinkers and doers. Our Pre-K lesson plans are developed using the well-regarded curriculum “The Creative Curriculum for Preschool”, which enhances kindergarten readiness skills.

Writing in journals, learning to tell time, and learning to tie their shoes, are just a few things they may come home bragging about. Through our Pre-k program, we hope to make a positive difference in the educational achievements of your child.

We follow the Creative Curriculum system, a nationally recognized early childhood program that continues to create developmentally appropriate curriculum for children by using best practices.

Our infant programs are designed to offer each child the kind nurturing environment essential for successful growth and development. We’ll engage your child in a highly personalized, developmentally appropriate and integrated infant daycare program, designed to promote early childhood development and foster lifelong learning habits.

From infant care to Pre-K, we strive to foster a sense of community that builds up each child’s background and learning abilities so that each one develops a positive sense of self. Children feel that they are at their “other home” when they step through the doors of Kaleidoscope Academy.

Infants are growing and learning every moment of every day. From crawling to rolling over to pulling up and taking first steps our program encourages milestone achievement in your baby’s first months. We recognize the importance of each stage of growth and development and encourage that development in a safe environment that nurtures each child’s emerging skills and celebrates their practice. Our infant program also focuses on offering children a variety of hands-on experiences that combine play and early learning, giving each child opportunities to explore and develop knowledge of the world around them
